Remember when the economic shit hit the fan & the US economy crashed?  Remember when the Canadian dollar was close to par with the US dollar?   Remember in October 2007 when the Canadian dollar was worth more than the USD?


Remember when there was a huge uproar over the unfair & unreasonable price hikes for goods in the US compared to identical goods available here in Canada?


Remember when the car companies "rolled back" their prices to closer reflect the reality of the lower value of the USD?  Remember when the car companies were offering huge cashback amounts on the purchase of a new vehicle?

I just saw a commercial for the 2010 Kia Sorento on NBC, retailing at $19,995.

Kia Canada lists the same vehicle for $23, 995.
